Stryker 3000 general hospital bed

Stryker Medical b.v. in Uden develops, manufactures and markets hospital beds and stretcher systems, and is part of the Stryker Corporation, one of the world's leading medical technology companies. Stryker products are sold in over 100 countries all over the world.

Stryker Medical needed a new general care hospital bed, as a successor for the Stryker Temfa 2000 S model and the Stryker Futura. The latter was not the success Stryker had hoped for, and the engineering department had prepared construction sketches for a new bed. In close co-operation with the Stryker Medical design team, Jan van Es [design] developed a new general hospital bed with adjustable side rails, and hydraulic or electrical height adjustment - the Stryker 3000.
